About

Well, let’s see…. about me….

First let’s give the basics,  I’m 40, married for 20 years, and have 5 children.   That part was easy.

My adorable husband, who will be known from now on as The Studman, is the pastor of a small rural church here in the southeast.  (bet you thought I was going to give our location away huh!)  This is his first full time pastorate, and we love it here.   I grew up a PK (preacher’s kid) and this life is all I know.  I didn’t intend to marry a preacher, but evidently God has a sense of humor, and made my husband one after we got married.  I guess he didn’t want all the experiences I have under my belt to go to waste.

I don’t work, my hubby works a full time job, besides pastoring, to pay the bills so I can stay home with our kiddo’s and homeschool them.  Yeah, I homeschool all 5 of them.  I’m a glutton for punishment ok.  Only now, I work part time from home.  I am a home tech support agent for a major cable company.  Be nice when you call to say your stuff dont’ work, you just might be talking to me!

Way back before I got married, I got a college degree, in Paralegal, and have never used it.  Not once.  In fact, just walking into the deed room at the courthouse gave me migraines.  Chalk me up to the “useless degree” category, cause that’s what I have.  At one time, I had a lot of useless knowledge as well, but that was slowly replaced by the intricacies of Motherhood.  Ask me how to change a diaper, I’m on it, got a nursing question,  throw it at me.  I have all kinds of baby facts stored in this here brain of mine.  10 years straight of either being pregnant or breastfeeding slowly demolished those smart cells and replaced them with the mommy cells.

Likes?  Dublin Mudslide ice cream, starbucks white mocha, starbucks mocha frappachino, baseball, music of all kinds, NASCAR, Grey’s Anatomy, books, lilacs.  Just to name a few.

Dislikes?  mean people.  That’s about it.

Now, you know a little bit more about me than you did before.  Aren’t you glad?
