Some days you just know you should stay in bed.
We had a couple come out to look at the house, while we were outside with them, I let the puppy K, run around outside without his leash. I had to go back into the house for something, and when I came back out, the girl dog, who happens to be, in season, ran out the door. She hit the road running as fast as she could. Puppy, K took off after her. We couldn’t catch her or him. That was around 11am. Its nearly 1am now and still no sight of the dogs. We searched all around, a couple miles radius around the house, and no sign of the critters.
The girl dog will be ok, anytime she disappears, she comes back…. the puppy I worry about. If he can keep up with the girl dog, he will be alright, if not, then he won’t make it back home. All of us are upset cause he’s gone. Except for Stud.

Then, around 5pm, I get the offer from the one we were waiting on. He gave us a fair offer, a reasonable offer, but my dad turned it down. See, my brother has him convinced he can sell the place at commercial value instead of residential… the price today was for residential. He is holding out for commercial…..
One of these days I’ll learn not to get my hopes up about getting out of this house, and into something that isn’t literally falling in around us. Cause it ain’t happening.
if you can’t tell, I’m a bit down tonight, shoulda stayed in bed.
