Sorry I’m neglectful. I worked a lot of OT this weekend, youngest stepped on a nail and had to go get a tetnus booster, found out the foot is now infect, got a flue shot and is on antibiotics…. I have a kidney infection so I’m on antibiotics, sons 2 and 4 just got off antibiotics one for a sinus infection one for walking pneumonia… that’s just the stuff going on I can think of from the top of my head.

I got to talk to my friend today. I love it when she gets that radar going on and calls me. I just needed to chat today. lol
Sometimes I think she’s psychic or something. lol We did figure out that for today at least, her lunch hour conisdes with my logging into work hour, which is a great time for me to chat. Unless the boys are all bugging me wanting to raid the pantry.

Speaking of, I went grocery shopping and stocked up. Now I’m thinking we need a lock of some sorts on all the cabinets, fridge and pantry. When the place is stocked, the boys think they can just eat constantly. I had to make them get permission to eat anything. At all. They aren’t liking that, but hey, gotta make that stuff last. Its kind of funny though to see my 6ft tall 14 yr old come ask permission to eat a gogurt. The best thing about it is I’ve not found myself wanting food as much since the pantry is all stocked and available. Where as when it was empty, I mean didn’t even have peanut butter empty, I dreamed about food. lol
Now if I could just get one of those starbucks baristas in the house, then I wouldn’t crave my triple venti white mocha’s.
Who am I kidding, I would too.

I think that’s the grass is greener syndrome or something like that.
I’m glad you got to talk to your friend today. I’m sure she enjoyed it immensely as well. Maybe she’ll call you more often since she knows when’s a good time.
