Huh?

I’ve spent the better part of the week trying to pay our cable bill.

What’s with all the internet sites changing their security measures, user names, passwords and all that other stuff, and not telling their subscribers?

The worst thing is, I tried online, couldn’t pay it.  I called them 3 different times, they wouldnt take it over the phone, all because of a 4 digit code printed on my paper cable bill.  A bill I automatically throw away when I get it because I do all my bill paying online.  Without that number, I couldn’t sign in, and they wouldn’t talk to me over the phone.  AND, they wouldn’t talk to me in the online chat help section.

Finally, around 11pm, I got my bill paid.

It’s about time.

    I’m just fed up with all the crazy changes.
    I wanted to log into my bank account and couldn’t because they had changed my “secret” question on me and didn’t tell me.
    Stupidest thing ever.
    Glad you got your cable bill paid. That’s a relief.
