Just call me Angel–Updated

Sometimes, you hit a wall. Sometimes, you reach your limit. Sometimes you just have to fling something across the room to get your point across.

Just sayin’.

I reached my limit this evening.

I am SO sick of walking into the kitchen and seeing every inch of counter space, counter space that I cleaned just a few hours ago, covered in dirty dishes, empty hot pocket boxes, drink bottles, and other things. It’s not as if they don’t know to throw the stuff in the trash, shoot, they throw the empty bottles AT the trash, they just don’t follow through and put them IN the trash when they miss.

So what’s a mom to do?

She takes of her sopping damp shirt and flings it across the room. That’s what she does.

Then she goes in the kitchen sets the oven timer to 30 minutes and tells her 3 youngest they have until that beeper goes off to get the kitchen clean again, or she will throw the video game system and its games out in the yard.

Not that I would know it from personal experience. After all, I raised perfect little boys who always mind and never make messes. And I would never lose my temper like that. Noooooo, not me.

Blessing: Three not so little boys who drive me crazy at every turn.

You never lose your temper like that? Come on, don’t be weak. Go crazy! It gets results. Trust me. When I go psycho, I’m like a baboon flinging feces (not my own) everywhere.

Sometimes even perfect little boys need to be reminded that the perfect mom is still the boss of them.

I was gonna say “rules the roost” but figured Jethro made enough animal references for the both of us.

I also have perfect children and never lose my temper…
    ya, right.

But I hear ya. What IS the big idea about everyone messing everything up within minutes of my cleaning it? There is no justice.

Jethro- I hope you clean the feces up yourself….

Jammie- Leave it to Jethro to bring out the animal…

Tara- And to beat it all, when they move away and have their own kitchens to mess up, we’ll be wishing they were back in ours making a mess.
