Spongebob anyone?

Hopefully today will be a pleasant day.  We are going over to some friends house for our Christmas get-together with them.  We’ve been friends for about 18 years, and they are like grandparents to the kids.  It will be very, VERY nice to be there, phones off, and just enjoy life for a while.

There was more drama last night, but I refuse to write about it.  I just refuse. Why?  I’m watching Sponge-Bob of course.  Who can write about drama while watching him?   I’m sick of all the drama, and now, where before, I was the mad one, and Stud was the reasoning voice, Stud is the mad one, and I’m just the blah voice.

In other news, Youngest’s chickens are laying eggs pretty good.  He gets between 2 and 4 a day, and I have yet to eat one.  He keeps giving them away and selling them to the neighbors.  They are expensive eggs.  4 for a dollar.  For a crisp new dollar bill, you will get two green eggs and two white ones.  Sometimes you even get a double yolked egg that will fill you up in a hurry.  I’m guessing the chick who lays those eggs cackled a great deal when that egg came out.  I would have.

I think the moral of the story is, if there’s drama just go lay an egg. Or two. Or one with two yolks. Or maybe just cackle.

Ah Spongebob, saver of sanity. If I need some quiet bonding time with my two, we quote the yellow guy.
