In the never ending saga that is my life, today’s episode is funny, yet disturbing.
We get a call this morning from the school resource officer at the local high school. Now, keep in mind, my kids are homeschooled, so why on earth is he calling me? Well, the story goes that my nephew, who is 16 and has been written about here before… got caught at school with porn. Big deal right? Well, the kid tells his mom and the officer he got the porn from us! FROM US! So how is it, I don’t have kids in public school, but yet I’m getting phone calls from the school? Sheesh.
Yeah, the porn did come from us, he stole it from our trash. The guys at work gave Stud a whole box of it as a joke, we had the box on our back porch waiting for the trash haul off. The kid stole it off our back porch, but then blamed us for it. All this happened yesterday, when he cut school and hung out at my house all day. Don’t even go there.
The funniest part? My kids don’t go to public school, yet every one of them know not to take stuff like that to school.
The saddest part, my nephew will be going away for a while to a facility to hopefully help him with his mental issues. He won’t be home for Christmas, and won’t get to finish out this year at school. They are talking at least a 6 month stay. He’s here now, apologizing to my kids, and to me for the trouble he’s caused. I hope it helps, but I’m not optimistic.

I’m so so sorry! You’ve got so much on your plate right now. I hope your nephew gets the help he needs. Poor kid. Talk about a cry for help. Hang in there, lady! I’m pulling for you!

Just think of the trouble you’d be in if the boys actually went to school! LOL
I’m sorry about your nephew though. I hope this will help him.

Like sands through an hour glass, so are the days of our lives.
